The question is: What is it NOT used for?! 

When I sent a whatsapp to some of our customers and friends asking what their 3 top uses for herbal family salve were, these were some of the responses we got (it's whatsapp so we're leaving the spelling and grammar mistakes! ):

Matla: Why only 3?! You make this difficult!! Great as "booboo medicine" heals cuts and burns Great as acne treatment!! Works great for female irritation 

Naama: During the day I put a thin layer on, at night a thicker layer, when Avinoam was little I used it as diaper cream

Elana:  Two things: 1. As a woman embracing minimalism in all aspects of my life when you introduced your salves, I LOVED having this ONE natural product for all my self care needs, face, hands, feet etc., made by wonderful people that I know, coming from the heart - win win win  2. Even if ONLY that I look forward to pampering my feet with a "spa" treatment of the salve after a shower at the end of a LOOOOOOONG day, just before cuddling up for bed.

Rivka: Our number one use for it has been as a facial moisturizer. We have also had good luck using it on eczema/mild skin irritations, and I also used it on a small burn. We use it daily and love it.

Yelena: Hi! 1) I use it a few times a week all over my face and neck as a moisturizer 2) I use it on burns (from the stove/oven or from the sun) 3) as the weather gets colder, I’ll be using it on my knuckles that get dry from the cold weather! (I used it like this last winter and it was great)

Great for under diaper chafing, soothing mosquito bites and scrapes, it's been great for everyone during this insane period when we wash our hands incessantly. Leanna: Oh wow soooo many uses!! I get really dry skin on my face and ears so I love it there, we use it as a massage balm on the skin when we use our massage gun (pic attached so you know what I'm talking about 😂), and I use it on my pup's paws so they don't get dry and cracked!

Tiferet: In our family it’s known as "Magic Cream" we use it on scrapes/scratches, mosquito bites, dry/itchy skin, red tushies.. 

It sure is! Most of our customers rave about the results they get for their eczema and psoriasis ( for themselves and their kids). It is recommended for the first week or two to apply very often every day, and then once the symptoms calm down/subside, use once or twice a day. In some cases, folks with eczema and psoriasis are sensitive to essential oils and it can cause a flare up, so always test it on a small patch first. Stinging is not the same as a flare-up. Our son used to have eczema, and the salve was at first stinging for him, and then once the skin started to heal, it only felt soothing and comforting. 

Side Note: Many cases of eczema are food related, so always be on the lookout to see if the itching starts after eating certain foods. 

Yes:) It's BOTH! You can use it as a Day Cream and then apply your makeup on top or as a luxurious Night Cream before bed.

Our friend, Miriam, is an amazing ceramicist from the upper Galilee. We've been using the Family Herbal Salve on our three boys since they were about 3 months old. The organic baby butter is a milder version of the Family Herbal Salve and is another amazing tool to have in your organic skincare arsenal! It has 6 less essential oils and a smaller concentration of the 3 that it does have. We recommend the organic baby butter for all the same uses as the Family Herbal Salve when they are newborns. Our customers love having both available!
